Truth is, the first time I learned how to blog I never knew about this PR thing and all that, in fact when bloggers around has gone frenzy over how Mr. G rate blogs to get a rank, well, I read a lot of those stuff, but hell, right, why do I care?

My first blog, ON THIS SIDE OF TOWN was on a free platform, you know for beginners who are tech-dumb like me doing it with blogspot (worpress.com being an alternative) to hone this art of blogging is the friendliest. I lost count how many times I changed templates, with thousands of them around, gosh, you’ll go dizzy choosing which one. Eventually, I got tired and settled for one.

If I were to go to a real jungle I’m pretty sure, I would be lost, I wonder why the internet – a real, true thick, anarchic jungle, I wasn’t lost. I owe it to Google. Mind you, just play around with words, you sure will find your way out.

Through time, I’ve been contented with ‘unrankable’, ask me, is this really how horrible a blogger am I, where my blog can’t be ranked. Ok, fine, I can take that. So I just continued to post whatever, here and there, long and short, hello, hi, yellow, blue, black, red memes and visit others, letting them know, Hey, I exist and makin’ friends. Those things I did every single day.

Days, weeks, months had passed, Mr. G has passed me by, I can see from my dashboard, that other bloggers has been celebrating loud their shining PR 1, Ok, congrats dearie… no sourgraping, just me blogging (huhuhu).

Eventually, I was surprised when paid opps, you know this thing bloggers do everyday has been flooding my mails, wooahhh, at first thought, is this some prank or something?

And when I checked out my ranking wow, Mr. G gave me three for four of my blogs, my ON THIS SIDE OF TOWN, which actually has not been moving from that number, THE WOMAN’S ELAN VITAL and this blog. Well, my photoblog|travel blog ANYTHING DAVAO got 3; I wonder why it was blessed with this highly coveted number when it has been inert for sometime.

Blogging Secrets? Secret, my foot! Everything is openly talked about here, only Google knows. However Google calculates its entire algorithm thing that I don’t know. But I’m genuinely thankful for this rank. Thanks papa G.
